With over a decade living and working overseas — from Central Europe to the Middle East — she has provided real-time data and insights to inform client decision-making. Her analysis has been featured in the New York Times, Axios, the Financial Times, Foreign Policy, Bloomberg, and Politico. Before Morning Consult, Sonnet was a career member of the U.S. Foreign Service, specializing in the intersection of politics and economics, with postings in Mexico, the Czech Republic, Iraq, Poland, and Washington D.C. She holds a B.A. in International Studies (Economics) from Pepperdine University and an M.P.P. from the University of Chicago with a focus in data analytics and development economics.
Jason McMann is a PhD political scientist with extensive experience in political risk research. He previously served as Head of Research at GeoQuant, a VC-backed political risk data startup. His work focuses on quantifying political and institutional risk for investors and policymakers.
