Geolexis was built for data-forward clients who need more than a search engine and less than a full research team to support their in-house geopolitical work. We are geopolitical experts and data scientists with decades of experience across government and the private sector — bringing together deep substantive expertise, data science know-how, and analytical precision to deliver intelligence that enables you to make business-relevant decisions with efficiency and rigor.
With a joint legacy of building industry-leading geopolitical practices and serving entities ranging from national security agencies to Fortune 500 companies, our co-founders combine elite diplomatic insight with advanced data science.
Sonnet Frisbie spent over a decade as a career diplomat with the U.S. Foreign Service, specializing in issues at the intersection of politics and economics. She served in Mexico, the Czech Republic, Iraq, Poland, and Washington D.C.
A conviction that practitioners of foreign affairs needed better data-driven tools led Sonnet to leave government for Morning Consult to build and launch the company's geopolitical practice. Sonnet has led numerous high-profile data and advisory engagements with national security agencies, foreign policy organizations, and Fortune 500 companies.
Her analysis has been featured in the New York Times, Axios, the Financial Times, Foreign Policy, Bloomberg, NPR's Marketplace, and The Economist, among others. She holds a B.A. in International Economics from Pepperdine University and an M.P.P. from the University of Chicago with a focus in data analytics. Sonnet is based in Washington, D.C.
